Kitchen Quick Tips - Declutter

kitchen quick tips

A no cost way to get more space and a streamlined look in your kitchen is to declutter.  Remove everything hanging on the fridge door, clear the kitchen counters off entirely and get anything that doesn't belong in the kitchen out.  Store all those small appliances in cupboards out of the way except those that are used on a daily basis.

I just cleaned out a bottom cabinet to store all my small appliances. It was a daunting task, but most of what was being "stored" in there was just junk that should have been pitched a long time ago. A giant pitcher that I haven't used in a year was taking up too much space, so I handed it off to someone who will make more use out of it. Thanks for the tip, it truly does make a difference when you have enough counter space to enjoy cooking.
