Cook ingredients that you are used to cooking by other techniques, such as fish, chicken, or hamburgers. In other words be comfortable with the ingredients you are using.

If cottage cheese is on sale pick up a few containers. Turn the containers upside down in the fridge. They will last several weeks to a couple of months when stored this way.

Hi Ted and thanks for visiting. Turning the container upside down especially after opening prevents forms an airtight seal. This tip works for all tub dairy products like yogurt as well.
