Kitchen Quick Tips - Broccoli


Don't throw out those broccoli stems! Peeling makes the stems tender and enhances the flavour. Use on vegetable trays or add to soups and any dish calling for broccoli.

The stems are also good peeled, sliced into matchsticks and added to stir fry.

Grams taught me to do this and it has always been a favorite of mine, especially for dipping in ranch!
