Cook ingredients that you are used to cooking by other techniques, such as fish, chicken, or hamburgers. In other words be comfortable with the ingredients you are using.

Canadian Kitchen Series Vegetarian Cooking, recipes with the basics in mind! This is one in a series of eight cookbooks featuring uncomplicated recipes and so much more. The Canadian Kitchen Series is written and designed in Canada, published by Telegraph Road. There are some really nice recipes in this book, complete with full page colour pictures!

This is the kind of cookbook I could really use right now. Although we are not vegetarian we have really been cutting down on the amount of meat we eat, so I would love to try some new vegetarian dishes.
