Kitchen Quick Tips - Rescuing Hard to Peel Eggs
Hard boiled eggs that have sat in the refrigerator can be had to peel. Submerge them in hot water for 1 minute then transfer into ice water and submerge for 1 minute. The shell will peel off easier.
Thanks for this tip. I am terrible at boiled eggs and hubby likes them occasionally. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat tip. I always waste so many layers of egg when I peel the hard ones. One time, out of pure frustration, I simply threw them out!
ReplyDeleteYour welcome Linda :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Jing Loh. That must be discouraging. I find that keeping the boiled eggs in cold water while peeling makes the shells come off easy.
