Home made food recipes are hard to beat. They look unique and taste as you want them to. The method you suggested is eco friendly; with the added benefit of savings.According to culinary research, if we close the lid of a cooking pot well, we save 10% of energy. You can see how that translates into a year of cooking.

OK, so maybe it wasn't eco friendly, but I loved my air popper. Remember those? Popcorn was so crunchy and tasty, with no oil. I've also popped popcorn in a paper bag in the microwave.

I do agree, stove popcorn is soooo good. Now I'm craving popcorn!

  4. Hi Katherine and thanks for visiting. I think an air popper is as eco-friendly as cooking popcorn on the stove. What should be avoided is using microwavable popcorn packets that are laden with salt and chemicals.

    Craving popcorn is good :)
