ReplyDeleteThe video was tongue in cheek but it is quite possible to use a microwave oven for storing food. The microwave oven is actually an ideal place to store breads, pies and pastries. Not only is it air tight helping to retain moisture, the microwave oven also keeps humidity, insects and rodents out. It's a great way to get a bit of extra storage in smaller kitchens. The downside of course is having to remove the food before using the microwave.
